Campus Ministry
The University maintains a chapel which provides a place where students can feel God's presence in solitude.

Rationale:The formation of true Christians who will make up the basic Christian community in the campus hereby helping in the attainment of the objective of a Christian educational institution.

It gives apostolic services to the entire college community through
  • teaching God's word.
  • celebrating the Liturgy.
  • caring of the youth through counseling/spiritual guidance.

AIM: Campus. Ministry aims to provide pastoral, priestly, prophetic services in a true Christian community.

Campus Ministry is involved in spreading Christ's word in the community, specifically to students, faculty, administrators, staffs, and others served by the school. It also aims to provide the Christian community on campus with pastoral liturgical services and to help the campus community achieve its apostolic mission.
Functions
There are six (6) functions of Campus Ministry although priorities are to be made.
  1. Liturgical: aims to create a climate of religious celebration in the community through the liturgy available according to the needs of the members of the community, making use of the arts to enhance reception and understanding of its meaning. It includes activities such as: liturgical, para-liturgical and devotional exercise; Bible services; small prayer groups etc.


  2. Pastoral: It is responsible for spiritual guidance; fostering of vocations, encouraging vocal and mental prayer and thoughtful reverence. The activities included are: retreats, colloquia, instructions on marriage, supervising volunteer activities, tutoring and participating in community action programming.


  3. Counseling: Through counseling, Campus Ministry enables conversation to think through his/her problem: It involves interdisciplinary dialogues which lead to assimilation of faith experiences in the light of one's questions and developing views.


  4. Educational: It aims to educate the members of the community on the life of the total campus. To mediate towards a change a heart and attitude. Its activities include inquiry into larger social issues of the time either personally getting involved by encouraging others to do so.


  5. Prophetic: To uphold moral, religious and spiritual interest, and the integrity of the total campus. To mediate towards a change of heart and attitude. Its activities include inquiry into larger social issues of the time either personally getting involved by encouraging others to do so.


  6. Organizational: To establish and maintain productive relationship inside or outside the college for effective functioning of the ministry.
