Saint Joseph Sakon Nakhon School Welcomes Student Teachers from St. Paul University Dumaguete

In a warm and festive atmosphere, Saint Joseph Sakon Nakhon School celebrated the arrival of two student teachers from St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) during the school's flag ceremony. The event was marked by joy and excitement as the school community warmly greeted the visiting students.

The two student teachers, Carla Jane Kilaton, pursuing a Bachelor of Special Needs Education, and Aisha Sophia Fay A. Boncales, studying for a Bachelor of Secondary Education in English, were eager to gain practical teaching experience. Their presence symbolizes the strong partnership between Saint Joseph Sakon Nakhon School and SPU Dumaguete, aimed at fostering educational exchange and professional growth.

This welcoming event is part of the ongoing activities under the SPUDLINKS program, a collaborative initiative aimed at fostering faculty and student educational and cultural exchanges, promoting shared learning, and providing practical on-the-job training. The program continually strengthens ties with our international partner institutions and industry partners, offering valuable opportunities for both students and teachers to grow, learn, and develop professionally.

As the school moves forward, the partnership with St. Paul University Dumaguete promises to bring more opportunities for growth, learning, and cultural understanding for the entire school community.
