Strengthening International Linkages in Graduate/ Nursing Education
SEP 12

Last September 5, 2025, St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) proudly engaged in an enriching international collaboration with Shinawatra University (SIU) in Bangkok, Thailand.
With the university's continued vision to drive the pursuit of excellence in graduate and nursing education, Dr. Tichie Ann Baena, Dean of the Graduate School, was joined by colleagues Dr. Ayeza Cathrina Tinagan (Program Chair, MAN, MSN), Ms. Rochel Ignacio (Faculty, College of Nursing), and two student representatives of the MSN program, Ms. Charissa Mae Ebarle and Ms. Maricel Apolinar.
The engagement was highlighted by two key activities:
*Meeting with the Faculty of Nursing officials and SIU International Affairs – filled with meaningful and fruitful discussions on future collaboration initiatives, including faculty and student mobility, joint research projects, and visiting lectures.
*Campus Tour – showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities of SIU’s Faculty of Nursing, which greatly inspired the SPUD delegates to strengthen their commitment to excellence and quality in nursing education.
This international linkage encompasses not only the Graduate School but also the College of Nursing, paving the way for stronger partnerships that will enhance academic excellence, research innovation, and global opportunities for both faculty and students.
???? This engagement marks another step forward in fostering international partnerships that support the growth, innovation, and global readiness of SPUD’s nursing programs.
This is a developing story.
