St. Paul University Dumaguete proudly announces the successful completion of its first Surveillance Audit for the ISO 21001:2018 standard, a notable achievement in its unwavering commitment to educational excellence and quality management.

The audit, conducted by TÜV SÜD, a globally recognized certification body, affirmed that the university has fully satisfied the requirements of the ISO 21001:2018 standard. This international standard emphasizes the importance of effectively managing educational processes, enhancing student satisfaction, strengthening leadership, and fostering a culture of continual improvement.

The audit team, led by TUV SUD auditors, Ms. Christine Anne Formalejo and Mr. Erwin Quinto, meticulously examined the university’s processes, compliance measures, and adherence to quality standards. Their comprehensive review concluded with positive findings, recognizing the institution’s dedication to maintaining high standards in education management.

A notable aspect of this audit was the participation of representatives from the Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB), including Ms. Mary Joan De Pablo and Ms. Ena Bernal, who observed the auditors’ procedures and evaluations. Their presence emphasized the transparency and integrity of the accreditation process, providing an additional layer of oversight and ensuring that the audit procedures adhered to national accreditation standards.

Following the audit, the auditors recommended the maintenance of the certification, contingent upon the submission of corrective action plans addressing any areas identified for improvement. The university has committed to these steps and is actively preparing the necessary documentation to uphold its ISO certification.
