The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity and the Feast of the Visitation were made especially meaningful for the Friends of St. Paul Dumaguete through a series of community engagement activities held in Calo, San Jose.
Guided by the spirit of faith, love, and service, the members facilitated a Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) gathering with parents and adults, centered on the theme “God’s Love Saves, Unites, and Gives Life”. The outreach also included catechetical sessions for children, the praying of the Holy Rosary at the grotto, a feeding program, and the distribution of school supplies to the young participants.
These meaningful activities were made possible through the collaborative efforts of St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD), the Paulinian Outreach Foundation, Inc. (FOFI), and the Friends of St. Paul Dumaguete, under the leadership of Sr. Ellen Lorenzana, SPC, Local Superior and SPUD–FOSP Coordinator. Through this shared mission, the participants embodied the values of communion, compassion, and service, bringing the love of Christ closer to the community.
