Our Junior High School and Senior High School students participated in the field-testing process that helped shape these global educational resources. Remarkably, SPUD was the only field-testing site outside the United States, ensuring that Filipino voices contributed to this international initiative.
The Basic Education Department also received a Certificate of Recognition through the support of Sr. Carmelita Villanueva, SPC, Basic Education Principal, and Mr. Carl Joel Tilos, Co-Creator and Field Test Facilitator of the guide.
Part of the Smithsonian Science for Global Goals series, this initiative was developed by the Smithsonian Science Education Center in collaboration with the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) and supported by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, empowering young people to explore global challenges through science and community action.
