Back on Track: A Reorientation for Continuing Students

St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) held a reorientation as part of Levesville Week for continuing students on July 8, 2026. The program ran from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Fr. Louis Chauvet Hall (FLCH).
The program began with a solemn prayer, followed by the Philippine National Anthem, the ASEAN Hymn, and a tone-setting dance performance by the CBIT. Following the performance, Sr. Pearlgen Joy Arroyo, SPC, delivered a meaningful opening remarks that reminded students of the qualities to live as Paulinians, including the Five Core Values, a Short Film of Kindness, and Symbols of Becoming.
In line with this, an academic roadmap was presented by Dr. Maricar Flores, Vice President of Academic Affairs. A comprehensive discussion highlighting the global opportunities and the university’s holistic approach to education, highlighting emotional as well as academic development.
The program's highlight was the 2 Couch Sessions. A period reiterating the function, concerns, and rules of the university offices and organizations. The session concluded with crucial information regarding bomb-threat response, campus advocacies, and student responsibilities.
