St. Paul University Dumaguete and O.P. Jindal Global Sign Friendship and Cooperation Agreement to Foster Academic and Cultural Exchange

In a meaningful move to strengthen international partnership, St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) and O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University), India, officially signed a bilateral Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation. The ceremony was held at the SPU Dumaguete Board Room, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration in academic, cultural, and personnel exchanges between these two distinguished institutions.

The agreement aims to promote mutual understanding, foster academic and cultural enrichment, and facilitate personnel and student exchanges. It highlights the commitment of both universities to build a robust partnership that supports joint research projects, faculty and staff exchanges, and student mobility programs.

A notable aspect of this collaboration is the integration of the SPUDLINKS (SPUD Leading International Network, Knowledge, and Synergy) program, which aims to strengthen international linkages, share knowledge, and create synergy among partner institutions. Through SPUDLINKS, both universities will work together to develop innovative programs, joint conferences, and collaborative initiatives that benefit their academic communities and beyond.

The partnership is expected to facilitate various initiatives, including joint research endeavors, cultural immersion programs, and the exchange of teaching and research personnel. Students from both universities will have opportunities to participate in study abroad programs, enriching their academic experience and cultural awareness.

This bilateral agreement signifies a meaningful step toward strengthening international ties and promoting educational excellence between the Philippines and India. Both institutions are committed to nurturing a vibrant academic community that values diversity, innovation, and mutual respect.

As the partnership advances, stakeholders anticipate a series of collaborative activities under the SPUDLINKS program that will enhance the global standing of both universities and contribute to the development of their respective communities.
